This evening me and the rest of Year 5 went to a Captain Fantastic Challenge Party on zoom, organised by school. Basically there was comedian host who planned activities and challenges for us. The aim was to either: avoid getting a dare, to get points or just for fun.

We started off doing exercises which we had to complete in 10 seconds. Afterwards we went on a scavenger hunt and whoever was last to get the items had to do a dare. My friend Thomas wanted to do a dare and the one chosen for him was really funny – he had to go to his front door and open it then shout “I believe in fairies!” three times. It was hilarious!

One of the challenges we did was to turn a family member into a mummy, my brother Euan volunteered to do it so for 30 seconds we wrapped toilet paper all around him until he was covered. It was really funny and even though we didn’t win that didn’t matter.

I’d really recommend Captain Fantastic and one of the things he said at the end is that they do all kings parties. Here’s the link if you want to check it out.
