Lunch from the Market

June 24, 2020

Today we had a treat and went out to the food market in town. Normally during term time we would be having school lunch, so it’s not often we get the chance to do it. There’s a lot of different stalls with all kinds of food from different places. It’s very cool!

Mummy decided to get a tikka chicken roll and Euan got some sweet and sour chicken and rice.

My Dad and I decided to have pizza. It was very popular and so we waited in a queue for a long time. They must have been expecting it as there was two meter markings on the ground.

As we waited we could stand and listen to the live musicians that were there playing songs on a violin and cello. They were very good and played lots of different varieties of song, and when it came to the faster parts it seemed as if they were really getting into it and moving to the song even more.

When we got the pizza it was worth the wait. Adam from Peddling Pizza makes the pizza fresh and oven bakes it right in front of you. It only takes a couple of minutes.

I took the pizza home and ate it in the garden. It was delicious!

Edit: one other cool thing to mention. After I’d written this story my Dad sent it to Adam at Peddling Pizza and he shared it on Instagram, encouraging people to come and look at my website. Thanks Adam!!
