As I said in a recent post Euan has been doing 3 swimming lessons a week so here’s a cycle route we’ve done recently, to use the hour while we’re waiting for him to finish.
These pictures were taken near the start when we were going up the track beside Batchwood. It’s really really bumpy so I had to be careful not to fall. But it’s really nice to be out in the open country so quickly after leaving the town center.
This is the first section of road when you enter the Childwickbury estate that I’ve mentioned in other posts. It wasn’t busy so I decided to race as fast as I could, making sure I was careful!
It’s really good that this route almost perfectly fits an hour which makes it a nice thing to do if you’re dropping someone off at Westminster Lodge for any activity that you’re not staying to take part in yourself.
